ive read a thread that say it will be ectos.idk what thread it is.i just found the thread and i read it and it say it would be ectos.

There are collectors in Lions Arch. I think one of them is taking Decayed Orr Emblems. The collector has the green candy canes but not the red ones. So basically those who saved up a ton of Emblems have to settle for those. And this makes the regular candy canes from last year worth more because of the comparison value and because there are less out there(because there were less gamers last year getting them and from people using them since then).

What would be ectos? nobody has frozen ecots yet..since they are not even ingame

Oh and i remember from the Gaile chat she said holiday missions will be added on the 23rd. So theres our frozen ectos.

What a jip, they changed the number of Singed Gargoyle Skulls and Candy cane effects. Every town but Ascalon has 1 item that trades 1 to 1.

Oh well guess I need to do 2 things farm skulls harder or switch to farming stuff that trades in LA.

idk but ive just read the thread and a member that post at the thread said salvage the frozen ectos will make ectos.i also even dont knowm if it would be ectos.

Look no more rubbish now, lets face some facts:

- No one know's what frozen ectos do because they aren't ingame yet
- Therefore no one knows if you can salvage normal ectos from them - which is very unlikely.

Even if someone on your forum said this, they are most likely talking rubbish, speculating or just flat out lying/pulling your leg.

Wait till they added ingame and stop dicussing something which no one as an answer to.

Well it's great the collectors have arrived. One thing that bugs me though are the incredible lags I experience while farming the stuff, almost impossible to play, let alone play fast. I think everybody and their grandma are farming at the moment.

EDIT: candy cane shards can be used in the grand finale according to the event details.

Didn't the write-up say the shards would be used the last day "for mischief or for good"? Sounds like they're slated for something fun........

I'm farming right for 5 hours Orr Emblems and got close to 500+ of them where I farm at least 20 Emblems in 10 minutes is around 100 in a hour. I take every hour 1 rest periode because of the anti-farm stuff affecting the Emblem, and Candy drop, as well less undead in the area.

I'm trying lots of places where farming is most effective. Charr Carvings drops aint that good as the Emblem one, but I heard the Singed gargoyle is nice as well, gonna try that out now.

People in Lions and another places are still Curious where those Shards are for. I think we are able to buy some Candy weapons, maybe the Hat has to be purchased now like the Dragon Mask with the Orbs.

While the new Wintergreen Candy Canes (WGCC) arent as effective as last years, they still have their purpose. The way I see it, they provide more flexibility.

So now you can decide to use the WGCC after saying just dying once without "wasting" a full original CC. And if even you reach -60DP, just use 4 WGCCs. They're cheap and plentiful at the moment and work just aswell

Farm it up people, so that we never have to deal with -15DP ever again!

There are some other items available. At least one of the quests in Kamadan offer Winterfest shields, etc. as quest rewards. Peppermint Shield and something else.

Exactly. I never got why people would waste a whole CC on -15% dp. If you can't work with only 15%dp then something is wrong. But then again I never used my CCs. They just sit in my invo.

Gates of Kryta mission. Kill the first few undead that are chasing those two Krytans, then run behind the house near Oink and down a hill to a Hellhound and some Ghoul popups. Once the Hellhound or all the Ghouls are dead you'll get a huge wave of undead that come at you. Certain builds (W/Mo with Judge's Insight and Cyclone Axe, for example) can take care of all those undead in <10 minutes. You'll get plenty of orr emblems and a few candy cane shards per run. An added benefit is that runes and gold items seem to drop frequently, so you can make some cash off of those, too.
